Security First

Security Protocol

CampusXchange was built from scratch with a security-first architecture. Here's exactly how we protect you.

Your Chats Are Private

Every message you send on CampusXchange is locked before it leaves your device. Only you and the other person can read them — not even our team can access your conversations.

Only Real Students Can Join

We only allow sign-ups from approved college email addresses. This means every person you meet on CampusXchange is a verified student from your campus — no strangers or anonymous accounts.

No Passwords to Steal

Instead of a password (which can be hacked or forgotten), we send a one-time code to your college email. The code expires in 10 minutes, so even if someone intercepts it, it's useless soon after.

Your Data Stays Yours

We enforce strict rules so that users can only see their own listings, messages, and profile. No other user can access your private data — ever.

Photos Don't Reveal Your Location

When you take a photo, your phone secretly embeds your GPS location in the file. We automatically strip out this hidden data before saving your images, so your real-world location is never exposed.

Protected Against Common Hacks

We apply industry-standard web protection rules on every page of the app. This guards you against common attacks like fake form inputs, clickjacking, and malicious scripts embedded in pages.
