Community Guidelines

CampusXchange works because students respect each other. These guidelines protect everyone in our community.

Do This

  • Show the item honestly — use real photos, describe its condition clearly.
  • Reply to messages quickly so buyers and sellers don't feel ignored.
  • Agree on the price and meeting spot before you show up.
  • Check the item carefully before handing over money.
  • Be respectful — everyone here is a fellow student.
  • If something feels wrong, report it immediately.

Don't Do This

  • Don't post fake listings or photos that don't match the actual item.
  • Don't ghost someone after agreeing to meet — it wastes everyone's time.
  • Never share your UPI PIN, bank OTP, or passwords with anyone.
  • Don't post the same listing multiple times or inflate prices unfairly.
  • Don't list anything illegal — no weapons, drugs, or adult content.
  • Don't harass, threaten, or disrespect other students.
